These angels were born from a creative challenge to use only materials on hand. Years ago, I traded a custom beaded set for these buffalo teeth. I originally planned to make a necklace from these teeth, but my obsession with elk tooth earrings popularized in NDN cunt(ry) inspired the question: Why not buffalo tooth earrings? This time, I wanted to play into opposition, something hard and worn like teeth turned elegant and soft.
